Deborah Cohen

Deborah CohenDeborah Cohen is an accomplished professional with over 25 years experience in developing strong, effective organizations, projects and programs. Her expertise is in defining, shaping and building initiatives into dynamic, vital and workable services. She brings a breadth of knowledge and practical experience in accessibility and inclusion, development and execution of pragmatic research, leadership and strategic policy development, training and operations. Deborah's experience cuts across business, government and the not-for-profit sectors.

Deborah has developed, lead, and strengthened diverse initiatives. Her broad experience includes: running a $100M job training and placement program; stewarding the incorporation of a disability arts organization and festival growing its annual events to international acclaim; developing and leading social and health policy initiatives, directing a training and placement organization for building operations personnel and property management companies; and coordinating the strategic framework and operational structures for digital product expansion at major U.S. based educational publisher of text-books for students with diverse learning needs.

Deborah has proven the ability to make the complex, simple and effective; the ordinary, dynamic, engaging and interesting. Deborah’s collaborative approach garners commitment to fresh approaches, ideas and to workable change.

 

Lorna Rosenstein

Lorna RosensteinLorna Rosenstein is a skilled and passionate executive, business and leadership consultant and coach whose expertise is bringing together disparate ideas and making things happen. Lorna is an acknowledged business and community leader and mentor with over 25 years executive and senior management experience in the high tech industry within Canada and the United States. As President of Lotus Development Canada she was responsible for all aspects of the Canadian subsidiary including sales, marketing, channel development, distribution, finance, and customer service.

Lorna has a strong belief in giving back to the community that translates into an on-going involvement with business and not-for-profit organizations. Lorna is actively involved on the Board of Directors and governance committees of numerous organizations including Foundation Fighting Blindness, Canada, Family Service Toronto, is as a member of the Management Committee of Retina International and is Co-Founder and Founding Chair of Gilda’s Club of Greater Toronto. Lorna also has been an active participant in a range of committees including TD’s External Advisory Committee and has held Board positions with United Way, the Toronto Board of Trade, the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC), and Intasys Corporation.

 

Linda Giddens

Linda GiddensLinda Giddens has over 20 years of experience providing training, placement and consulting services to the Property Management Industry.

Linda is one of the pioneers in developing and implementing training and placement solutions that address the needs of property managers and front line staff in multi-unit residential buildings.

As CEO of several training and placement companies, Linda has developed a comprehensive knowledge of staffing requirements within the residential property management sector. She has nurtured diverse industry contacts, secured funding for the training of students, has developed and implemented training programs for front-line staff, ensured the appropriate placement of hundreds of trained personnel and has worked to identify, develop and deliver custom training solutions for individual property management companies.

 

Edie Saunders

Edie Saunders

Edie Joseph Saunders has 20 years of experience in the housing and not for profit sector as a senior manager, organization development specialist and training facilitator. She has led a variety of projects to promote equity and accountability for tenants and housing staff. She has designed strategies to implement workplace diversity and trained managers and front line staff on service excellence.

She helps groups identify strategies, concrete practices and proactive policies to enhance accessible service. She brings an ability to make complex legislation easy to understand and help groups identify steps that will make any changes in practice “stick”.

As a consultant, she is currently focused on enhancing opportunities for people with disabilities and newcomers to Canada.
